On my Pro 2006 & 26 I'm able to manually change steps,modes,etc.Plus each
radio has none of the idiotic breaks in freq coverages other than the cell
mandated ones.I *think* they were made before the "milcom column".
Probably makes sense if one is selling radios as the less you offer the
less it cost's to make.Although with the new digital scanners going for
five or six hundred bucks one would think the simple task of changing
mode/step would be included.
At least one would think.
