I have listened to your comments regarding the BC-796D and find them
interesting. I do all the tech support here at Grove for our trunking
customers. And since you bought the radio from us last year please call
me on our 800 number during business hours and I will step you through
what you need to know. You don't need to pay someone to help you out
when you have bought your radio from the folks with the best tech Uniden
support on the planet.
Trust me Wilson, it is not that hard my friend. ;-)))

John......thank you for your thoughtfulness. I too have been
misunderstood on the internet and have learned my lesson.
Straightforwardness is required! And yes, John and I have been
discussing ways for me to "get a handle" on this BC unit. With all of
the replies I have received. Uniden must not be listening to their
customer as most dislike and some hate the darn scanner. I guess you get
what you pay for! And for a couple of dollars more I could have done my
mind better to make the investment.
