[Scan-DC] News organization feed frequencies

The call went out on the 1D TG earlier this week at about 5:00am. The VMO told a
sergeant to have everyone take out their batteries and check for a green tag, and if
they had a yellow tag or no tag then to come in the next day to have their radio
reprogrammed for the inaugural. (I may have those tag colors backwards.) The 1D
sergeant acknowledged, sounded puzzled, and said he would have his guys check. Any
ideas what could be inferred from this?

Don't bet on finding any more talkgroups. Depending on what unit was
called in, it may have been to reprogram the in-car radios. I have heard
there are some out there that haven't fully switched over to the new
system.
What channel was this on and what units responded?
