[Scan-DC] News organization feed frequencies

I heard an MPD VMO (vehicle maintenance officer?) tell a sergeant to have his people
report to the radio shop to have their radios programmed for the inaugural. He
seemed to be talking about the handhelds. This may mean that special talkgroups
being set up on the MPD trunked system. You may want to scan in what the Pro-96
calls the "open mode" to see what you find, since any new TGs may not be on the
latest RadioReference files. I guess MPD doesn't do over the air reprogramming,
anyone know?

I'll be listening to: 1) MPDC SOD which, I believe, operates on their CMD-2
talk group. MPDC also has several special event talk groups, SE1, SE1A,
SE2, etc., one or more of which may be used.
