[Scan-DC] how is it spelled?

Not much I can add that already hasn't been said by Gary, Ron, Jeff and
others. I have never seen it spelled any other way than "Mussel." All
the DoD publications I have acces to that have a reference to the
callsign in it say "Mussell," including their squadron instructions.
I think it should be "Mussel," a real pearl of a callsign. ;-))

A good question. I've seen it spelled both ways - one for the oyster
like food, the other for the body part. I haven't a clue as to which is
correct.
