This is not an unusual practice. The coalition opposed to high-speed rail
service in Florida is DEBT - DErail the Bullet Train.

Actually, I don't like "bottom posting" as you put it because then i
have to re-read an entire 2 pages of back posts just to get to the
response to the previous message.. I have always posted like this
since back in the BBS days before i used to be on the Internet so i am
experienced in reading and posting this way.. but hey.. whatever is
easiest for you.. just don't brag about how "cool" you are because you
can move your cursor and start typing after the quoted text.. w00

By the way.. don't take this seriously .. this message is in good sarcasm =)

I found this at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CenTexComm/

"The Radio Shack Pro-96 also has a necessary software upgrade that will have
to be done if it is not already loaded onto the scanner. It has to be done
to be able to monitor the Simulcast sites and if you are not sure if it's
been done, then just do it anyway since it will not hurt it. It can be
found at:

The radioreference.com radio reference forum has a couple threads stating
that Radio Shack has a program in place for early adopters to send their
radios in for a cpu/firmware upgrade to v1.3.

This takes care of the tg lockout bug and other issues and is NOT the dsp
upgrade that can be downloaded.

Has anyone heard anything about this?

All,

Over the last week or so I've been hearing comms on 165.4625 (PL 100.0).

These comms appear to be used by the Bureau of Immigrations and Customs
Enforcement (BICE) units conducting container inspections probably at the port of
Baltimore.

The comms are quite stereotypic i.e. " container OK", " bad picture--try it
again"

This is the first time I've heard the Mafia callsign used by Andrews

Anyone have the freqs for 92X & 92Y so I could plug them in my scanner just
in case.
