Channel 92X
VOR - 114.50 Int. Freq 1116 MHz, Pulse Code 12 v Reply Freq 1179
MHz, Pulse Code 12 µsec
Channel 92Y
VOR - 114.55 Int. Freq 1116 MHz, Pulse code 36 µsec Reply Freq 1053
MHz, Pulse Code 30 µsec
Before we get side tracked as we did once before on this subject, these
are the Air-Air navigation freqs used for tanker-receiver nav (please
note the pulse code etc above). These are definitely NOT A-A voice
channels.
73 all and thanks for the new call Ron. Youre da man.

Subject: [Scan-DC] New 99th AS Callsign
All,
Today, in the 0900 hour (EDT) had Mafia 74 and an unidentified Venus
aircraft
up in A-A chat on 142.75 AM. This is normally the Venus Control freq at
Andrews so they were probably using it as an A-A since it's one of their
pre-sets.
The Venus aircraft was coordinating their navigational routes with Mafia
74.
In their chat Venus asked Mafia 74 to use Tacan 92X as an A-A freq
instead of
92Y, which they didn't have. Mafia 74 was trailing the Venus aircraft
about 5
miles to his right and about 4,000 ft lower in altitude.
This is the first time I've heard the Mafia callsign used by Andrews
aircraft. Must be a new 99th AS call.
Anyone have the freqs for 92X & 92Y so I could plug them in my scanner
just
in case.
