All,

Got the following ealier this afternoon:

Jets To Practice Funeral Flyover Today, Another Flyover Scheduled For
Wednesday

WASHINGTON -- If you hear loud jets flying over D.C. this evening and
Wednesday, don't be alarmed. It's all part of the preparations for former
President Ronald Reagan's funeral procession.

A team of 13 F-15E fighter jets will practice a formation over the National
Mall between 6 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. The flight is a rehearsal for a similar
flight during the funeral procession on Wednesday.

Wednesday's flight will also happen between 6 p.m. and 6:45 p.m., and it
will involve 21 F-15E jets.

The jets will fly south to north across Constitution Avenue, roughly along
4th Street. They will be 1,000 feet off the ground.

The actual fly-by will take only 60 seconds.

I've been listening to the Reagan National VHF/UHF freqs and have heard
nothing. Did hear Andrews tower around 1800 EDT mention fly over and had DC 23
(KC-135R 459th ARW Andrews) depart Andrews later in the 1800 hour. DC 23 asked
SAM Command (378.1) to check on the status of their receivers from
Seymour-Johnson.

But didn't hear anything on the Reagan National UHF freqs which I would have
expected the F-15s to use to coordinate their entry/egress from the DC area.

Maybe they set up a set of discrete freqs in which case I missed them
