Well, I wanted to bring the recorded audio off of the other 2 computer/radio
combinations with me tonight to make comparisons but I got involved try to
get a new network hub in place so all the computers could talk and by the
time I had to go to work still had not gotten everything back up. Hope to be
able to pull it out and review it tomorrow.
But from looking at the hits & results on the other 2 computers it still
looks like I am getting the same results as yesterday. BC780 still picking
up the most intermod and having issues with false hits. The Pro-2035 W/OS535
BOARD has minor intermod problems but nothing in comparison to the BC780.
And the PCR-1000 is still crawling along but I don't seem to be noticing any
intermod problems as yet. Sure wish I new of another scanner with the
Intermod Rejection of the PCR-1000 and the speed of the Unidens, or at least
close to it.
Still looking at throwing money at a new radio though. Still undecided
there.
The results today are all from the BC780.
240.1
Picked up Harmonic of apparent 120.05
242.0
Picked up Harmonic of apparent 121.0
301.625
Picked up both Local County Fire dispatch as well as a HAM repeater.
252.8
Used as Interplane for Unknown A/C. Comes back as a common AR freq but I
want to get something a little better on it to tag it.
277.975
Brief comms, nothing gained
278.675
Cessna 7880N Calling PAX TOWER advising landing PAX RIVER. Did not appear
that contact had been made. I show nothing for this freq as being used as
PAX. I suspect he just punched in the wrong freq.
283.35
OSPREY 51 @ PAX sitting on the ground @ HGR 144 conducting tests. Tagging
this one as NHK FLIGHT TEST for now and will work the details out later.
