Decent day I guess considering I am working so many of these distant or
seldom used freqs. Got one good tag out of the bunch. Locked one out as
Harmonic. And ended up with a couple freqs that definitely need more work.
254.475
Sounded like K-MART working with GOLIATH
335.8
Weak, brief comms, A/C reporting flight level.
273.8
GOLIATH directing VIPERS in ACM. Weak but readable. VIPER 01 expressing
concerns to GOLIATH about weather at Langley and getting home before it
moves in. Later heard TIGER 24 trying to raise unknown station.
291.75
Brief comms, nothing gained
375.2
161NG calling BAYWATCH on Uniform. 1X Unsure if 2 way comms were made with
BAYWATCH. Will continue to work this freq as this is my first log on it.
275.5
Extremely weak comms, heard verbal comms but surprised it even broke the
squelch.
262.75
Weak comms, electronic type tones covering the voice comms. Nothing more
gained.
306.6
REACH 0180 Calling CHERRY POINT DISPATCH reported Alpha 1, 30 Miles out, 54
PAX. Freq comes back as a known Cherry Point Dispatch freq so I am tagging
as such.
245.6
Used as interplane. Had something to do with 273.8 (above) as I heard
several references to VIPERS. Could not make much more out of it.
242.0
Weak broke comms of A/C with PAX. I have been playing with this one long
enough to know hat the bulk of the comms I get on it is harmonic from 121.0
from PAX. Locking it out.
233.9
VIPER 21 advising over the restricted areas and setting up equipment
onboard. Several lists bring this back as "Dahlgren Range Control", I have
not heard enough to be able to confirm this yet. VIPER 21 was working with
VIPER TEST and VIPER GROUND. Advised they would monitor 123.45 as well.
Heard prop noise off/on from VIPER 21. It appeared that VIPER 21 used this
freq to talk to VIPER GROUND
227.4
Weak, brief comms. Nothing gained.
378.375
Very broken comms. I could not get anything out of it other than verbal
comms were used.
141.1
Unknown A/C advising he was on Victor.
232.3
VIPER 21 used this freq to talk to VIPER TEST.
341.9
VIPERS being coordinated in nighttime Intercept work. Likely not related to
VIPER 21 above.
