Not to be picky, but there must be an unprecedented solar storm going on
right now if people are hearing skip on a frequency like 154 MHz. What you
people are hearing is tropospheric ducting, not skip. It is common this
time of year and is caused by thermal inversions in the atmosphere. I'm
sure many people on the list already know this, but I am pointing it out to
those who don't.
