I hear you. A lister last year or so pointed out that any AF plane, even
a Cessna 172, become AF1 as long as a president is on board.

On the other hand, just as there is an artist known as "The Artist
Formerly Known As Prince," or TAFKAP for short, I consider there to be a
747 that I shall refer to as "The Aircraft That Is Often Called Upon To
Be AF1," or TATIOCUTBAF1 for short. On Tuesday morning, I saw what I
thought to be TATIOCUTBAF1 fly over, which at the time I thought might be
AF1 as well. It is quite uncommon for a 747 to fly over Alexandria at
such a low altitude, though not as rare as that B-1 that flew over last
summer. A few minutes later, I saw a similar or the same aircraft. If
anyone on board waved, that person was too far away for me to recognize
him or her, as the case may be.

Let the record show that I made no gesture of any sort.
