[Scan-DC] Pro 96

Hey everyone,
WELL- its been too long for me not to be able to listen to MCPD, so I've 
finally decided to get that Pro 96.  Before I treck over to radioshack, I wanted 
to check if any of you have suggestions where I could get one for a good price 
(new/used, <500).  
Are they any reasons why the Uniden with the APCO card would be better?
