Wow... I guess the pun in my original message wasn't as obvious as I
thought!  The 30 minute rule only applies to the commercials in and out of
National.

I have heard many staff members discussing how they are usually working
during take-off and landings

Even to the point where they are at copy machines or fax machines

I have also monitored many a phone conversation during take-off and landing

Also, just because you see 28000 or 29000 in-flight does not make then AF-1

They are only AF-1 when POTUS is onboard
