What about the VDOT sand trucks? Last Tuesday (1/27) troopers were =
screaming for a sand truck on 295 @ Pole Green Rd (2 accidents there due =
to ice build up under the overpass) and for a stretch of 64 west of =
Richmond that iced up (many cars slid off the road) otherwise they were =
going to shut the highway down. The dispatcher didn't have any answers =
at the time. Do you know if they ever showed up? I was driving a tractor =
trailer from Springfield back to Chesapeake via Varina at the time and =
drove by the 2nd accident at Pole Green.=20

Just curious, why does every scanner publication show the state police =
in Chesapeake call sign as KIC410=20
when they haven't used that call in several years? They've been ID'ing =
as "KIW thirty-six" (KIW036?) since the late 90's.=20
