[Scan-DC] SHIP ACCIDENT IN CHESAPEAKE BAY?

About 5pm Saturday a tug/barge collided into the Chesapeake Bay =
Bridge-Tunnel.=20

The incident occurred on the bay side of the span near mile post 2, =
between Virginia Beach and the south island.=20
There were slight injuries on the barge crew. A navy ship, coast guard =
cutter and helo, Virginia Beach FD boat responded to=20
the scene as well as bridge-tunnel police and boats from the Virginia =
and Maryland Pilot associations.=20

BTW Ocean View in IN Norfolk, despite some residents wanting it to =
secede from the city.=20

Visiting Ocean View near Norfolk this weekend. Hard to make out but it
sounds from the FM Marine Band  like a ship or tug may have hit one of
the bridges (the wind is quite high).  Coast Guard is asking if people
are in the water, who may be in shock etc.
