Spoke to a Southern Dist officer today who told me he had the new radio for a couple of months and it was put in use today. Hrd broadcast on Sheriff talkgroup abt 1805 "new radio system in effect..." Didn't monitor fire but all police tags are now silent. Bob K3RSJ
