Generally when they report to the SOF they are telling him the outcome of 
that particular mission.  They'll either say it " went as fragged" meaning it 
went according to plan or they'll detail any deviations/mishaps etc.  

They report the codes for the aircraft in the formation:

code 1= everything is fine; code 2= minor malfunctions/problems; code 3= 
major infractions/problems (no radar, bad radios, hung armement, etc).
