[Scan-DC] Antenna Help

I'm getting a major buzzing/hum sound on AM civ airband.. it's so bad that i
can barely listen.. i dont know why.. it happens on and off.. I dont think
it's grounded properly? could that be it? also i notice when the a/c or
someone outside cutting the grass or workers with chainsaws or other
machinery ruin my recieve. i can hear the noise from the machines.. how do i
resolve this..
