[Scan-DC] AM or FM

Chances are you are only going to find AM frequencies in the aircraft =
band 118-135.975
with the exception of some military air perhaps in the 138-142 but none =
of either is listed here

  simple question... How do you determine which are FM and which are AM? =
 (Not
  just these but in general)
