Charlie - In Phila., on both the Police and the Fire systems (800 Mhz
digital trunk), the PRO-96 outperforms the BC-250D in terms of audio
quality.  However, in Bucks County, the BC-250D is the choice for better
audio quality on their 501 Mhz digital trunk.  This judgment is based upon
side by side comparisons of both radios.  Hope that helps - Kel

Hello,

Does anybody have the Pro-96 now?  How is the
audio on P25 systems?  I have a bc250d, and the
audio is widely variable depending on where I am
at the moment.  I hate having to fine tune /
adjust the audio quality manually.  I thought that
I heard that the Pro-96 does not need its audio
adjusted manually... Is this true?  That would be
reason enough in my opinion to opt for the Pro-96.
