The Watkins-Johnson (WJ) receiver I use (WJ 8618B, 20-1100Mhz) has a
spectrum scope that allows you to see from a few KHz to several MHz of RF
Spectrum on either side of your receive frequency. It's great for ferreting
out unknown freqs.

Foe a pix of the receiver and a close up of the spectrum scope visit my
website at www.mitchelson.org and click on Radio Room. You can click on the
pix's to get a close up.

Are they using split freqs on purpose?

Thor is on 282.425 and Omaha 03 is on 282.450. Definitely split as shown on
the WJ's spectrum scope too.
