[Scan-DC] Tragedy in the Chesapeake

All,

In the mid 1400 hour Activities Baltimore (157.1) was working with Baltimore 
County 1508 (probable Police boat), concerning a person in the water (PIW). 
According to Activities Baltimore, this PIW was a confirmed man overboard for a 
vessel traveling north in the Chesapeake Bay. CG 41359 was dispatched to 
assist the pleasure vessel Isle of Light who had spotted the PIW. 

According to chatter (156.8), the PIW had gone into the water in the area of 
Bowleys Corner to free his propellar from some line fouling it and had drowned 
in the process.

Department of Natural Resources police craft as well as Fire Rescue craft had 
been dispatched to the scene.
