[Scan-DC] Water rescue in MoCo

Hey guys,
Were any of you with the new Unidens listening to MoCo fire last
night around 11:30? I was listening on my RS Pro-94, a call came out for
a car into the water at Lake Needwood. I believe 38, 31, and Rescue Squad
3 got put on the call, 81 and an ambulance from station 8 may have been
added, along with a bunch of boat and water rescue units. Since I live
close by, I headed over there. The dispatcher told the units to go to 7G
for operations, but didn't patch it in to the analog system, so I couldn't
hear anything besides the dispatcher adding additional units on 7A. I had
to drive past the lake to turn around, and right as I passed it, all the
units came flying towards me on Needwood Rd. I turned around and headed
down there. Sure enough, there was a car in the water, although not very
far in. Plenty of MoCo cops were on the scene too. Did anybody hear what
was going on at this point? It looked like a bunch of fire folks went
down to the car along with the police, didn't find anybody in it, were
loooking around for the person, but all of the sudden the fire people gave
up and left. Not quite as exciting as I thought it was going to be.
