   As is always the case, the official response to queries about all
CAP activities is the same, including this event:

   "Routine training exercise."

   That response is via all local news outlets who posed the question
to DOD in response to hundreds of calls from citizens that were
placed to news organizations and local and national authorities.

   Of course, if the event was actually "routine" there would not
have been the concerns exhibited by the public, right?
