161.73 is a Fox news frequency. It used to be shared by WTTG-TV, WASH Radio
and Baltimore's WCBM Radio when they were all owned by Metromedia in the
1970s. (I was working for WASH at the time). Then, and I believe now, it
was used by the assignment desks for all three stations, (primarily by
WTTG), and for Walt Starling's traffic reports on WASH. If I remember
correctly the call for WTTG/WASH was KGI-343 and WCBM was KRN-705. (It's
amazing what the mind remembers)! I think the Fox folks still use KGI-343.
