[Scan-DC] Democracy in action, seen on the 'Net right now

Current events, it seems. Will our lawmakers stop protecting cellphone
users from being overheard by scanner owners long enough to engage in a
Capitol Hill catfight?

From what I can piece together (and this could be all wrong!) sounds like
the Democratic members of the Ways & Means committee were meeting in the
committee's library when the Chairman (Bill Thomas, R-California) arrived
to stop the meeting. Pete Stark (D-California) threatened bodily harm to
the Chairman, who called the Capitol Police to break up the meeting and
protect himself.

p.s. both Mr. Thomas and Mr. Stark are hot-tempered bombastic twits
(IMHO)
