After reading the article, one question I'd have is this: How can
you not have "dead zones" in such terrain? Satellite radio is
mentioned, seemingly, as an answer to the current "obsolete" system.
I dunno about that in an area of dense canopy and grottos. Sounds
dicey to me.
Also mentioned are the actual number of employees in the park. It
is claimed that the same number that were employed in the '30s are
on the job today. Perhaps the park is understaffed for the workload
that is currently required, but isn't that situation the defacto
standard in the contemporary employment world? Devices replace
people. That's the name of the current game, and that concept is
most certainly supported by government.
