This is a nice effort. Unfortunately in spot checking a couple of Army
installations in my listening area, some of the frequency information is not
correct and would be fruitless monitoring for anyone listening to those
frequencies. For example, the Ft. Eustis MPs left 407.475 mhz. several years
ago and now are part of the Newport News 800 mhz. trunked system. Ft. Lee has
only one PE frequency, 173.6125 mhz. There is no second PE frequency. 149.800
was an old ambulance frequency that is no longer used. There never was any
"medical net". The Ft. Lee ambulance uses the 155.340 HEAR system only. There
is no EOD team and the 49 mhz. frequencies listed are bogus. The CID no longer
uses 141.325 mhz. but is part of the 400 mhz. trunked system at Bellwood. There
are other errors, but I mention only a few. This is the main problem with
military frequency information that has been perpetuated through the years
culled from various sources. There seem to be only "adds", never any changes or
deletes. These frequency listings should not be taken as gospel. But, it is a
commendable effort and is something compared to nothing.
