Hello All! It's been awhile since I have participated in this group..
been busy with life. My friend is really interested in listening to
Montgomery County ((MD) Fire/Rescue. I am looking for help to steer
him in the right direction. There are a few essential features which I
have found are necessary, but I don't need a really fancy trunked
scanner because of the PS2000 switchover. The dispatch will be
simulcasted on the 154 MHz channel, as far as I have heard ;-)
I'm asking that maybe one of you (or all of you) could point me to a
cheap and good scanner for this purpose. I currently own a PRO-91 and a
PRO-42.
-Battery Saver (on/off quickly to save the battery)
-Chargeable batteries
-Recieve 154 Mhz
-ear connection for attachment to speaker
Hm... I'm sure i'm forgetting something.. but I'm sure you get the
idea. Thanks so much in advance!
David
