Yes, NIST is operating full time on Montgomery's ASTRO system. NIST has
talkgroups for security, fire/ambo dispatch and operations talkgroups.
Myself and Dallas Lipp put the talkgroups up there on TrunkedRadio.Net! If
anyone has any corrections and/or additions, please let me know. BTW, all
of the NIST talkgroups listed there are fairly active--security moreso than
fire/ambo, but when a call for Station 53 goes out, you'll hear it on the
ASTRO system tg's. Occasionally, you'll hear a mutual aid response out to
Montgomery County and then you'll hear the units responding both on the NIST
Emergency Channel and Montgomery Co. Fire's Channel 2. 154.1600 (TT TG 3344)
