Actually, the track from the Alexandria Extension and into
the tunnel to Union Station uses what I have heard them call
the "home" channel 160.92, but it's so damned short who cares?
That's the channel used on the Northeast Corridor up towards
Baltimore, but he won't be running that direction on this trip.
The other thing is that if he has never heard railroad talk
before, listening on a scanner for the first time won't
tell him so much, but it will certainly be an education!
