Byron,
Andrews uses the trunked system for almost all base operations.
Definitely put it in your scanner. I'm not sure whether the
conventional frequencies are still used--I'm sure someone who lives near
the base can advise on this.

Subject: [Scan-DC] Andrews AFB Question
What kind of system do they? I've come across some info on their 400Mhz
trunked system, but I've also come across some conventional frequencies
that 'appear' to be fairly current. Is the trunked system being
simulcast or is the conventional information just outdated? I could
probably fit all of it in the scanner, but I'd like to avoid spending
the time to load the trunked stuff if possible.
In case someone is wondering, I'm working on frequencies to use for the
Joint Services Open House in May. I know it's over two months away, but
I hate waiting until the last minute. Especially when I've got the free
time now to start collecting data.
Byron
