Members may be interested to know that the US National Imagery & Mapping 
Agency (NIMA) has posted 3 maps of the Iraq area on its web site:

Baghdad (1:40,000)
Iraq (1:1,250,000)   
Middle East (1:4,500.000)

They can be downloaded in the .JPEG, .EPS or MrSid formats. The Iraq & Middle 
East maps are fairly routine, but the Baghdad map is quite detailed if seen 
in the MrSid format. In MrSid Baghdad & Iraq are 10MB & Middle East is 5.6MB. 
You must have the 2MB MrSid Viewer program, which is also a free download. 
The 3 maps are also available in printed versions from the US Geological 
Survey. Baghdad is $15, Iraq & Mid East $10 each. Complete details at:
