I agree, my radar detector goes off on GW Parkway around the CIA too, I
always chalked it up to 'microwaves' in the area.

Most likely it is some form of unidentified interference, but have they
ruled out paging interference? A lot of hams pick up interference in the
hart of Rockville. It is a very RF-rich environment.

Also, I notice that no matter what frequency I am listening to, whenever I
go by the CIA off of the GW Parkway, I get tons of noise and interference.
I wonder if the CIA is doing that to prevent effective communications near
their plant?

A reporter from the CityPaper seeks assistance investigating claims made by
neighbors and those that pass the Russian Embassy. According to one person,
people in the area often lose their cellular connections near the Wisconsin
Avenue compound.

If you have any ideas, a spectrum analyzer or would like to help him
investigate, please let me know and I'll put you in touch with him.
