Wally,
OK, first go to http://www.trunkedradio.net and you'll find lots of good
stuff to program in there. As far as digital goes, you can program in
Montgomery County, Howard County, DCFD, Fairfax County, Metro Washington
Airport Auth., Prince William County, Loudon County, Baltimore City and lots
more from there.
Other non-digital TRS systems include AA County, Frederick County, St.
Mary's County, Calvert County, BGE, Alexandria, Arlington County, Baltimore
County, Carroll County, PG County EDACS and more. Also, there are loads of
federal systems you could monitor from PG County, like Andrew's AFB,
Ft.Meade Army Base, Naval District Washington, Ft.Belvoir System, there's a
defense dept. TRS, plus several other conventional systems like MD State PD,
VA State PD, US Secret Service (Some channels are P25), US Capital PD, US
Park PD, lots more...check out http://www.henney.com/chm for more
information on those and even more goodies to program in for the
DC/Balto/NoVa area.
To facilitate programming the 250d, I'd recommend TrunkManager by Ben
Saladino. I believe its available as shareware at
http://www.interplaza.com/bensware/tm.htm .
Have fun.
Andy
