Doug,
My friend Jesse caught this more or less as it happened and relayed it
to me. I'll try and tell you what I remember, maybe he can post later and
clarify. The accident was a hit and run, with one ejected and others
injured. The car that caused the accident left the scene, but its
license plate fell off at the scene, and the county cops caught the car
down Greenbelt Rd. An EMS task force was started, but he wasn't sure who
exactly got put on it. They ended up transporting a couple of patients to
MedStar.
The accident was at University and Metzerott (you spelled it right Doug
:-)), which is either in 11's first due, or 12's, depending on which side
of University it's on. I think 34's area begins at University
and Adelphi.
