I just got home from work and past 7 corners on Route 50 FFX PD had blocked
all westbound traffic onto the service road by Target (old Montgomery Wards).
There were about 7 police vehicles, two fire trucks and an ambulance. The
rescue personnell appeared to be attending to someone lying in the street in
the middle of the intersection next to the Home Depot of Sniper fame.
I didn't see any wrecked vehicles so I assume it must have been a pedestrian
struck. From what it looked to me it was probably a fatality. There was
police tape erected around the area where the person was. An ABC 7 truck had
arrived on the scene just about the time I was driving by. I guess it might
be in the morning news.
Anybody know anything?
