[Scan-DC] MCPD Gaithersburg?

I went to bed last night around midnight.  I left my scanner tuned to
Channel 5 (495.3375) just like I do every other night.  I breifly remember
hearing about a 7-11 robbery that had occured up in the Paul 4 beat.  I
believe they even sent out the King Units (which I believe are K9 units) to
catch the guy.

Yet again, I could be wrong because I was halfway asleep.

Hey, is/was anyone listening to Montgomery County Police, Channel 5,
(Gaithersburg/Germantown) around midnight/0030 on Sunday 12/22 - Monday
23rd?

What's happening?  (I don't normally monitor the police channel.)

I live near the intersection of Goshen Road and Snouffer's School Road,
Paul-4 beat - just went outside to take out the trash before going 10-7 -
MCP cruiser pulled in here and then went up in the field, hitting it with
spots and hi-beams.

Of course I ran upstairs and switched over, and am hearing references to a
perimeter... 2 subjects matching a description (unknown - I missed it) at
the 7-11 on the corner mentioned above.

Then two of the Atlantic Security cars came in here and turned around and
drove off... one of the ASP guys is a buddy of mine, but I think he's off
tonight, otherwise I'd go try to chase him down and see what's up...
