Foam also keeps the vapors from rising off the fuel and finding an ignition
source. (Especially on hot days when gasoline evaporates very easily) Foam
is very cool and useful stuff.
I heard on Z104 that apparently the trunk went off a bridge into Seneca
Creek (50 feet below). The driver was rescued by three passerbys.
