All,

I have made a personal decision to not post US military logs (HF/VHF/UHF) to 
the open lists. The reasons I have decided not to post are: (again I STRESS 
they are personal)

1. The Homeland Security Bill signed into law today.  Until we find out how 
things are going to shake out, I personally just feel safer holding off for 
the time being until we know how the Bill will (or won't) affect out hobby;

2. We're  heading for war in the Gulf and I prefer to remain silent during 
this period;

3. My posts generally deal with activity in what I consider to be a sensitive 
geographic area (some may call it ground zero). I feel it's prudent at this 
time to stand back and "cool it" for awhile. 

I know there's great debate on the pros & cons of any course of action---AND 
I DON"T WANT TO START ANY FLAMES/THREADS. Each of us has our own opinion & is 
very capable of making our own decisions on this matter.  This just happens 
to be mine and I'm sharing it so that those of you who read my posts don't 
think I dropped off the face of the earth.

I'll still be listening to the local stuff and will be glad to answer any 
questions you guys might have about activity in my area or to help anyone 
with technical information. I'll also post any non-US military activity 
(foreign, etc) that I bump into.
