[Scan-DC] A scanner problem -

Scan fans -
         One of my old favorite scanners  , a BC 200 XTL , has developed
a problem . I punched a
freq into the search section and got an ERROR message . Since then , I
can't use the search feature
at all - every time I try it I get the ERROR message again . All other
channels in the memory
banks work just fine . Can anyone suggest a possible fix ?
         If nothing else works I could try resetting the entire scanner
from scratch .Do any
of you remember which three buttons which need to be pressed to clear
the entire 200 channels ?
