You should check out www.mdfirenet.com - it's the Maryland Fire
Network...I've been a subscriber for about 6 years and love the service. They
offer 10 emergency newsdop slots, as well as CNN national news on 2 versions
of alpha-numeric pagers (alpha-elite and a more advance variant). The service
is only about $12 per month and also includes unlimited local
numeric/voicemail/alpha service, as well. I highly recommend getting one! You
can order a pager off the website - but because they are so bogged down w/
orders, you may wish to call them directly.
