[Scan-DC] CHP skip again

Hi Everyone, The Time is 1100 hours EST. The California Highway Patrol is 
comming in fullm quioeting on 39.26   Also I am hearing them on 39.44  
  38.60 as well as a full quieting signal on 39.88  The weather in tjhe 
Shenandoah Valley today is rain heavy at times. The signal sounds like a 
single skip signal but from that Distance it seems hard to believe unless the 
reflecting layer is extremely high. I cannot find 42 mjhz freq skipping as 
yet guess the band is on its upward swing   Joe Leonard  wb4igu
