[Scan-DC] Pax River Cancelled

Just found out the show was cancelled. Here we go again *sigh*. They said 
they couldn't raise enough money for security, but they are planning the 
2003 show already. Funny thing is they had all year to plan this one. How do 
they think an extra 6 months is going to help them? Next year the show 
should be in May with the Blue Angels the weekend after Andrews, IF they 
have a show. The Pax website addy is: //home.nawcad.navy.mil/airexpo02/ They 
claim they are trying to do a show in conjunction with the 100th anniversary 
of manned powered flight. I guess the early months next year with the 
foreign jet teams over should be very exciting.      Jim
