I don't know how the 245 works. My only trunktracker is a PRO-2066. It
will track only one trunked system at a time. It will work either as a
trunktracker, or in the ordinary mode.
Example: I have Alexandria public service TRS in bank 1. I have Arlington
TRS in bank 2. I can listen to both systems by activating both banks, but
I will have to do my listening in the usual mode. That is, I'll have to
lock out the data channels. As an alternative, I can listen to Alexandria
in the trunked mode, or I can listen to Arlington in the trunked mode,
but I can't listen to both simultaneously in the trunked mode. Your 245
may be different.

For me, NOAA is heard best via the Manassas station at 162.55 MHz.
It's hard to beat Gravelly Point for plane watching. Well, you could go
to Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles.
