[Scan-DC] what to listen to for the Fourth

I figure the MPD (DC Metropolitan Police Department) will be concerned
with pickpockets and such on the Mall. At least I hope that's the worst
thing that will happen on the Fourth. Please, let that be the worst thing
that happens.

What's offbeat? Well, there's a sailing ship, the "Danmark," headed to DC
on Monday. Call me crazy, but my guess is that it's from Denmark. That
ought to be a blast headed up the river. Should be mostly Coast Guard
freqs involved, but what about comms on board?

In Manassas this weekend, a B-17 will be paying a visit. This seems not
to be the one that flies around with its buddy the B-24. They are
sponsored by the Collings Foundation and are out in the Pacific Northwest
now.

I have toured the Collings Foundation's pair, and I highly recommend
taking a tour. I don't know what the deal is on getting inside this B-17.
