Hey there, Craig.
I live in Frederick.
Yes, Frederick PD is Project 25 digital. The county is 800 MHz trunked.
A while back, somebody brought up the idea of monitoring the wireless mic freqs to pick up the audio comm from the patrolman to the video recorder in the police cruiser. I happened get lucky and have a set up a speed trap very close to my house. I searched the 170-174, and 902-928 bands and didn't pick anything up.

Mutal aid at 154.28 is sometimes interesting to listen to.

And yes, we have DSL and two-way cable. We even have running water and flush toilets. ;-)

Good morning everyone...

I am buying a house in the Frederick City area in the next 30 days and
wanted to know what's good to listen to? I'll be puttering between NIH and
Ft. Detrick too. I know Detrick is trunked and the Frederick City PD is
digital?

I have Frederick Fire programmed alrready into my PRO 93. Anything else good
to listen to?

I'll probably join a station in Frederick to. I think I can hold dual
membership at both (fred. Mont), I just want have a life..lol

PS: If anyone on this list lives in Frederick, how is the internet access? I
don't think DSL or 2-way cable has reached there yet. I may have to
downgrade to a slow dish :-(
