Has anyone ever heard of this new license-free band?  It is a five channel
radio band that runs on old color dot business frequencies.  Maximum power
is two watts.  Repeaters, phone patches, continous transmission, data, etc.,
are not allowed.  It basically uses the same rules for FRS, except for one
main one.  With MURS radios, you can add an antenna (you dont need to use a
rubber duck).  There is only 1 MURS transciever on the market now.  Check

about the rules and regs.  The second site is the only existing transciever.
