FM, stands for Frequency Modulated.
AM, Amplitude Modulated. AM is mostly used for aviation and Military.
USB ? as in computers? :-)
Your BC895XLT should be able to get FM wideband.
Digital=don't worry about it, you can't listen to it (yet) digital is
basically 1's and 0's, just like you PC uses to work.
Digital Spread Spectrum is what the newer cellular telephones use. They hop
around frequencies to make difficult to monitor.
